Looking for a place to play competitive fun lacrosse games this summer? RMU Junior Colonial Camp

July 16-19, 2012:

 This camp is designed for middle school boys. All the fundamentals of the game in a competitive environment will be taught by NCAA Division 1 Coaches and players for the most affordable prices.
 
 Each player will receive an RMU reversible jersey and there will be raffle prices given out every day. During lunch and down time, there will be college game film and miniature golf to break up the day.

USC Boys Lax families: 
I thought you might find it interesting that our USC Youth club lacrosse programs (both boys and girls) are growing by leaps and bounds.  I am not sure of the stats of other sports in USC for 2012 but our numbers have to be up there with the "traditional" sports from a pure student and family participation perspective. 

We NEED your help as volunteers to support our program- see our plea below and reply to Lou Piconi if you are able to help us this season!  On field or off, your support is critical to the continued success of our club.

Hello USC Youth Lax Parents!

As we move closer to the Spring lacrosse season we have a need for volunteers to help support our players.  Please see below and we would love to have your help. Thanks.

USC Youth Lacrosse Board Member
Currently, we are seeking nominations to join the USC Youth Lacrosse Board of Directors.  Responsibilities include approving strategies, funding, and personnel decisions in accordance with our published by-laws.

USC Team Manager
Team managers support coaches in the process of communicating with parents, following up on necessary paperwork, and working with schedulers, etc. Managers support two grades with two teams using the online platform for communication (very easy to use!).

Positions Available: 1 for Grades 3/4 teams, 1 for K-2 teams, 1 for 7-8 teams.

Assistant Coaches
Assistant coaches will support the head coach by working with sub-groups of players using drills and techniques taught by USC's experienced coaches.  All coaches are encouraged to complete the Level 1 US Lacrosse Certification online (paid for by USC Youth Lacrosse Club) and required to submit the paperwork for coaching clearances.  Every assistant coach will need to be approved by the USC Youth Lacrosse Board of Directors to work at practices and on the sideline.  Please note, that no coaches will be allowed on the sideline or practice field without all paperwork completed (this is a change from last year's more open policy). 

If you are new to lacrosse our senior coaches will work with you to build coaching skills and knowledge.  Please apply!
